RED BP system update – Simplified Declaration process for State forests purchased timber

A new functionality has been introduced in the RED BP system to simplify the declaration process for timber purchased from the State Forest Enterprise (SFE) – simplified declaration on the basis of VMU data.

From now on, when declaring firewood or logging residues purchased from SFE via the “Baltpool” Electronic timber trading system (ETTS), you will only need to review the data automatically retrieved by the system, indicate the quantity used for biomass production, and confirm the declaration. No additional documents (such as invoices or waybills) will be required. The standard declaration method, when providing all required data and documents, remains available.

Important:

• This functionality applies only to firewood (2nd and 3rd calorific value) and logging residue assortments purchased from SFE on or after 2025-01-01.
• Data will be updated once a month, around the middle of the month.
• For timber purchased before 2025-01-01 and for other assortment types, declarations must be submitted using the standard procedure – including all required data and documents.

The declaration based on SFE data can be submitted in the declaration section. In the menu bar, select “Feedstock Primary Acquisition” and click “New Declaration”. In the window that opens, select “Start declaring”.

This update is intended to reduce the administrative burden and accelerate the audit process.
