- The value of the BWCS (Baltpool Wood Chips SPOT) LT index has reached 15.09 EUR/MWh. Compared to its value in July, the index has increased by 7.2%, and compared to the results of the same period last year, the value of the index has increased by 88%.
- Compared to the results of July, the total amount of delivered biomass has decreased by 20% to 207,190 MWh (84.4% of the amount was delivered under short-term contracts). Compared to the same period last year, the amount of delivered biomass has decreased by 8%.
- In preparation for the upcoming heating season, participants of the exchange have already concluded contracts for the supply of 678,160 MWh of biomass for the next heating season at an average price of 15.99 EUR/MWh. 2.5 times more long-term contracts were concluded during the same period last year.
- The price of concluded contracts is higher by 49% than the average biomass supply price of the previous heating season.
